INTRODUCTION
You wake feeling groggy. You have the distinct sense of oversleeping, even if you may not recall ever going to bed in the first place. And this bed? Definitely not yours, no matter how comfortable it may be. And you'd probably not go to sleep in your street clothes*, right? Well, maybe it's time to smooth out your bedhead and get exploring!
(*or whatever else you were wearing at the last moment you remember)
The first thing you'll notice is the complete absence of windows - are you underground? Though you'll encounter quite a few closed doors, there are some rooms for you to look through and maybe catch your breath in. Maybe it's time for a slushie in the dining room? Impatience won't get you anywhere!
And what's better than a sweet drink to bring strangers together? After all, you're not the only one who's crawled out of bed a little late today. Mingle and don't worry too hard about your current predicament!
((The Mastermind will introduce themselves at 7pm EST real time.))

[ which is a very low standard, but belphegor doesn't need to know that. sigma sits up and straightens, his gaze focused on the newcomer. ]
Did you wake up in a room?
no subject
[After a moment more of thought, Belphegor just recklessly throws himself down on a seat. Sprawls out, looking impressively boneless after the 0.5 seconds of so-called hesitation, and slowly becomes one with the cushions. This is a coziness professional at work. Somehow, his stupid buckles-and-bells-and-whistles-what-is-that-half-hoodie-thing manages to look comfortable too.
He curls up a bit. He's also stolen one of Sigma's pillows, probably. I'm assuming these couches have the little couch pillow-cushions.]
Mm. More comfortable than I expected, too. Three-star hotel?
no subject
in contrast, sigma straightens himself up, almost like a doll or robot, as he observes the other. ]
Three stars…?
no subject
[He's already closed his eyes. He opens one to peer at Sigma, thoughtfully, at the sound of movement though -- this one looks like a human, acts like a robot or a hologram, which is just as well, really. He's seen quite a few who-knows-what since arriving.]
Or, don't tell me you've never stayed in one?
no subject
[ they're cheaper and take cash, so they're easier to use when he's doing his jobs. ]
What's "Devildom"?
no subject
[The disparagement has the tone of pleasant reminiscence, for whatever reason, Belphegor patting his pillow like it might be his trusty wallet or maybe just a trusty companion on the stroll down memory literal trip lane.
Let's be real, he probably hasn't stayed in a motel except under extreme circumstances. Speaking of which--]
Haha, it's in the name and it's literal. The land of devils.
no subject
[ he takes this SO casually. of course this guy is a devil.
actually… ]
Is there a difference between demons and devils?
no subject
I wouldn't know about regional or historical differences between different humans, though, I don't follow them that closely. [he's yawning because talking semantics is kind of boring, a demon is a devil is a demon and may be entirely too mundane to him; the least mundane thing he's encountered lately is... being outside? does this count as being outside] Why?
