It is less about seeing, necessarily—I imagine our vision would be about the same, barring the fact that very few can understand what it is like to see the world through the eyes of another. But it was far easier for me to understand where things were in relation to me without necessarily looking at them prior to my arrival.

I imagine you have habits based on your lived experience that give you a more limited form of it, given that I do not see other peoples tripping over everything they do not actively spend time looking for.
